First thing to create event\u00a0content is to create aevent post. \u00a0Theme has various post options for you display different content on your event.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to\u00a0WordPress Dashboard > Events\u00a0> Add New\u00a0Event<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Enter event\u00a0title and content. You can use any shortcode or HTML Editing Fields.<\/li>\n
  3. Upload event\u00a0featured image<\/strong> using set featured box on the bottom right side. All event pages will use this image for event\u00a0preview image and thumbnail.<\/li>\n
  4. Once you finish, click Publish.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    • Event Date<\/strong> – Date of this event.<\/li>\n
    • From<\/strong> – Begin time of this event.<\/li>\n
    • To<\/strong>\u00a0– End\u00a0time of this event.<\/li>\n
    • Event Location<\/strong> – Address for this event ex. 34 Kingstong Road, United Kingdom<\/li>\n
    • Get Direction on Google Map (optional)<\/strong> –\u00a0Check this option if you want to find map with direction using location above.<\/li>\n
    • Buy Ticket URL (optional)<\/strong> –\u00a0Enter URL where visitor can buy ticket for this event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Organise\u00a0Event\u00a0by Event\u00a0Categories<\/strong><\/p>\n

      If you want to categorised event\u00a0items by sectors ex. Photography, Exhibition\u00a0etc. You can do that easily.<\/p>\n

      1. Open WordPress Dashboard > Events\u00a0>\u00a0Event\u00a0Categories<\/strong>\u00a0You will see list of for example event category\u00a0you have.<\/li>\n
      2. If you don’t have any, please create one first so you can assign event items to it.<\/li>\n
      3. Now back to edit event page. Look at “event categories” box and you will see list of your current event categories. Check one you want to assign this event to and save changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        How to add event\u00a0category\u00a0page<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Basically when you crate event categories. WordPress automatically added these pages for you. You just have to find the url of it or add it to main menu. Open Appearance > Menus<\/strong> and select for example “Event Categories” you want to add to main menu.<\/p>\n

        But if you couldn’t see this option. Click “Screen Options” at the top right of edit menu page and check “Event Categories” options.<\/p>\n

        Create a Event\u00a0Page using Page Template<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Once you create event\u00a0posts. To display your event\u00a0on page, you have to create a event\u00a0page. Here are the steps to create a event\u00a0page.<\/p>\n
