First thing to create food event content is to create an event post. Here are steps of how to create an event item.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard > Menus > Add New Menu
- Enter event title and content. You can also add text, HTML or shortcode to event content.
- Assign this event to event category using menu categories box on the right side.
- Upload menu featured image using set featured box on the bottom right side. All pages will use this image for event preview image and thumbnail.
- Once you finish, click Publish.
Events Options
- Event Date – Select date of this event using date picker.
- From – Select start time of this event
- To – Select end time of this event
- Event Short Info – Enter shortcode information for example rules, notice of this event. It displays in event sidebar of single event page.
- Make Main Menu Transparent – If you upload event featured image. It displays as event header background. This option will make main menu background transparent.
Events Settings
You can change event settings including font family, size and colors using Theme admin panel. Go to Theme Settings > Events
